The rails are being laid for an up-to-date steam tram system. Rockhampton has beautiful surroundings and its Botanical Gardens are the finest in the State. The city has a plentiful water supply and is lighted at night by gas and electricity. There are many beauty spots in the district. Good shooting fishing.
